Barrow is the northernmost city in the United States, located in northern Alaska. The climate is polar and Arctic. Winter weather can be extremely dangerous because of the combination of cold and wind, while summers are cool even at their warmest. The population is about 4,000 in year 2007.

after living up in barrow for 5 years I am happy to say I never want to go back.

@wolfsblood07 well I have to admit it is really cool to see whaling and seeing polar bears and all different kinds of wildlife. but I like where I live now better than barrow. but everyone has different opinions. I would probably go back and VISIT barrow but never live their again. I really miss walking on the nice beaches though.

That sign pointing to all the bigger cities at 1:37 with the music really gives me that sense of just how remote Barrow is. I'm not particularly keen on ever visiting there but, learning about small towns always seems to interest me.

Ihave never seen snow, never touched it, but it is a dream that maybe one day I can make it come true!
