John Stamos is in very close cahoots with Mike Love. John could've easily taken some "suggestions" from Mike Love during production, and even if that wasn't the case, it really might as well be the case, given how the end result turned out.

If you don't believe me, watch the Endless Harmony documentary. A lot of Mike Love's lines in this movie are taken word-for-word from things the actual Mike Love said in the documentary. It's uncanny.

Watch summer dream's The story of the beach boy's. It is a better movie and they get it rite. the whole story is true. It's worth watchin and more truthfull.

OMG! This is hilarious/appalling if we are made to believe it was Mike (narcissist) LOVE's idea to form the band and Brian HAD to be talked/pushed into it.......it was Brian talking to Al first about getting together with Carl and his cousin Mike.......what a load this is in its first 9 mins.

The first half of this movie is actually decent despite some glowing errors but the second half was a disaster and an embarrasment especailly the "Smile" section where they played on the myth that Brian destroyed the tapes.A lot of good that did,especailly now.I will admit this is better than "Summer Dreams' but not by much.They both suck if you aswk me and as far a bipo pics are concerned,the Beach boys have yet to be done justice
