SYNTH JAM - Roland D50!! Improvisin' with this beaut' ;)

Well, in this video, I'm improvising 100%, playing my Roland D-50 with home-grown & modified patches, playing it using my Novation ReMOTE SL61 as the controller keyboard (I prefer its velocity sensitivity and "feel", and two of the keys on my D50 are broken *cry*)

The whole shebang was played into Logic Pro 9.1.x thru a M-Audio FireWire 1814 audio interface.

I am a 100% wholly SELF-TAUGHT KEYBOARDIST! So there are a few playing mistakes - as there are in ANY performance - perhaps exacerbated by the fact that, well, I'm making everything up as i go! :D

There are some quite baroque/contrapuntal flourishes to it, as well as some more simplistic, and a few inspired by movie music. It was just for fun :D

The video was recorded with a Sony Bloggie 1080p COMPACT video camera, and dubbed with the audio recorded in Logic, as well as cut/trimmed in Adobe Premiere CS5

awful, you are very capable! Thi is an other demonstration that D50 con compete against more modern and sophisticated synth with only a difference: modern syth cost up to 3000€ while D50 cost about 350€
