My AR.Drone arrived in the mail today, so I took some videos along the way. Turned into an actual "review" of sorts...sorta. Anyway, includes an unboxing, my first flight (indoors, mistake) including a crash in the sink! Then an outdoor flight and some of my comments on the quadricopter. Fun!

@bassax7045 Does it support augmented reality gaming, come with an open SDK available for anyone to develop games/apps and the ability to control it from your iphone with the video displayed on your control device?!?! If not then i'm not interested...Personally.

Expensive? 4 brushless motors, lipo battery, gyro, accelerometer, onboard wi-fi, 2 cameras, ultrasonic sensors, onboard computer... I'm sure I've missed something but really? Expensive? I think it's very generously priced for the technology you're getting.

@ALBsharah ok you got me there ,,but this was a testflight with full hd cam ,,there is also a movie with a keychain spycam on my channel ,wich makes it fly like there is no camera attached ,,

even think my helicopter and radio is same prize but made of aluminium,titanium and carbonfiber ,,better get heli if youre in to this flying stuff

looks like that beautiful dog wanted to bite it to pieces,its a frisbee to his concern ,,nice toy but cheaply made,i think i stick with my helicopters and put a cam underneath that

@bassax7045 Hey, thanks for the reply. Watched your video...but even you state that it's difficult to fly your helicopter with a camera attached. "It's like driving a freight truck", you said. Looked like you had a hard time keeping it in the air at times. So, why bash my product when your own solution struggles?
