Tea For Two - accompanying a jazz vocalist on piano. This was another unrehearsed video. Comments have been added, and a piano view and chord chart. A (much better) version is available (free) at http://web.newsguy.com/dougmck
along with a transcription, and the midi file recorded with the video

  • I love the eloquest sounds of the piano........ Her voice is absolutely amazing!!!

  • EXCELENTE!!!

  • @dgrendahl Also, if they were doing this for a live audience, I doubt she would be in the background. Most likely out front. How do you see this differently?

  • @mikeinminn Yes, that would be one way of looking at it. I too considered that at first. But then, the more that I've listened to this video, I'm thinking that it is fairly well balanced...sort of. Jane Monheit sang this song, live at the Rainbow Room and if you listen to it, you will see that her voice was the thing...NOT the piano! Therefore the piano music was subdued.

  • Vy good for Vocal for pianoplayer
