Richard shoots his German K98 Mauser (aka Mauser Karabiner 98k) at the Arkansas Game & Fish Commission shooting range near Mayflower, Arkansas on 6-15-2008. This particular rife was built in Germany in 1938. It fires a 8mm round.

  • Nice rifle. Easy on the trigger. You can improve your accuracy at least 50% if you squeeze that trigger correctly. The K98k has a dual stage military trigger pull. When you shoot at the range or when hunting you have to pull past the first stage then when your sure of your target begin the squeeze of the second stage. The rifle should go off when your not 100% expecting it. It takes practice, so take your time relax, and concentrate. Good luck

  • Its an awesome carbine i love it!
