Sid Hudson is back! After leaving the Barbara Mandrell show in 1988 to start a Real Estate Development Company with his father "Jim Hudson" he started practicing again January 2009. He has been playing shows around Virginia with Robby Meadows and Pony Express.
Yes, that's his father "Jim" on steel guitar. "It's alot more fun to play because you want to and not because you have to". Outhouse John and the Corncobs(introduced in the video as the Wilson Brothers) bring a new twist to classic country and blues songs with the addition of Sid Hudson and his hot guitar licks. I saw Sid about 25 yrs ago at the Stagecoach on Murfreesboro in Nashville, he played steel and lead guitar and both of them awesome, I think it was the Don Kelly band.

Met Sid in Waynesboro, VA the weekend Lady Di left us. Sid is one of the nicest guitar players you'll ever meet. He was with a stage band at a talent show. He tried to get me up to play..no way. That would have been like comparing Porky Pig to Darth Vader!! From a fan in North Carolina!
