what song is this?
-
The name of the song is Ciocârlia, is a well-known Romanian folk tune, that was first made popular by violinist Angheluş Dinicu in the 19th century. Its popularity spread further afterwards, thanks to Angheluş's grandson, Grigoraş Dinicu, and to violinist/composer George Enescu.
Bregovic stole it and then made Kalashnikov and Sheva.
By the way this is a great cover and I would love to know who the artist is.

No, it's Serbian.

this song is called Kalashnikov by Goran Bregovic,an song is Serbian.

Hi, i'm from Venezuela. This song is called PACSIRTA and i think is a Rumanian folklore song.

I think Mardi's style is just so soft and fluid. Where as Zoe is very intense and in your face. I love Mardi's style because of that, a lot of dancers (myself included) tend to go for the fast, sharp pop and lock dancing, where Mardi dances so soft and smooth. Its a great counter balance to all of us pop and lock girlies :)~

Well, you can have your opinion, but I don't think its a coincidence that thousands of people think that they are the most creative and amazing dancers out there :)
Beautifull Mardi! Thanks so much for posting, is so hard to find videos of Mardi. So amazing :)

Great to see Mardi "let go" and really *dance*! So many I've seen are all very sloooow and controlled (which is great too), but this was a lot of fun :)
