In this video, we are going to take you through a few easy steps to help you get to grips with preparing a feed.
We acknowledge that breast is best and would always encourage mums to breastfeed their baby.
Some mums may feel at some point that they wish to combine breast with formula milk or due to health circumstances at times may have to change to formula. This video is aimed at those mums, in those situations when they need to introduce a bottle of formula, we are ensuring the best and safest practice is advised.
We would hope that mums have sought advice from their Healthcare Professional before introducing formula and would have been advised about the demand and supply needs for breastmilk.

@aradiapaganus Breast is best for those that can. I'm upset people like you give the breastmilk arguement on bottle feeding info. When someone chooses to give their baby formula milk, it's not a decision taken lightly. Have you ever considered the possibility that some women can't breast feed? Maybe there are medical conditions preventing them from doing so? Have you ever considered that some of those women who are unable to breastfeed feel bad enough about it without you making them feel worse?

Breastfeeding is definitely more convenient and economical that all the work that goes into preparing a baby's bottle. I am upset that this video failed to mention the demand=supply when it comes to breast feeding. By suggesting that a mother should combine formula (bottle) and breast feeding it is sabotaging the mother's ability to produce enough breast milk. Babies should be breastfed EXCLUSIVELY for the first 6 months- 1year and the longer breast milk is in their diet the better.
