6 mm not 14, or you get a dangling cable, like you made.

Great video, but the cable that was crimped was done wrong. When properly done, a little bit of the outter plastic sleeve should be in the connector as well for stress relief. Otherwise when the cable is pulled on, the wires could be damaged or pulled right out of the connector. If you pay attention to the other end of the cable shown at the very end of the video. That one was done right.

i hav six little wires in mine two greens, two blues, two oranges.. u think tht matters?

Does it make a difference if you use two wires from the same twisted pair (like green and green-white stripe)? Or do they have to be from different pairs like you did in the video?

to add to above, the outter plastic sleeve Must be crimped in the plug as well, if you look at the plug there is a dent witch crips down on the outer caseing to hold the caseing tight into the plug
