Just wonder if the noodles get too soft.

The trick here is to do the egg closer to the end of cooking the noodles. I also don't go for stirring everything up - let the noodles sit; they'll cook fine that way. - The Ramen Rater (find me on google)

next time toss that nasty packet and make your own soup base, it's really easy and taste so much better.

Felipe. Lol

you dont mix the packet at the same time u put the noodles in

Thanks to you I won't starve at Uni! It was perfect the first time I attempted it! Cheers

Also, if you don't like runny, snotty yolk, you can cook the egg separately and put it on top after pouring it into a bowl

you gotta use better ramen than maruchan...most grocery stores have something higher in quality
your egg didn't foam the hell up @.@ and the noodles don't look slimy! how! is this perhaps teh magic of the nest?! whenever I put eggs in(before the noodles, with the noodles, after the noodles(and soup) it always foams up and is all gross. Then the noodles get covered in egg slime. And taste gross! the nest, it must be!

@charcharyin You could try lowering the heat to a simmer before you put in the egg. If the soup is bubbling hard, the egg could get disturbed and spread all over. But yes, the nest helps a lot

I seen a vid on youtube somewhere where it was an Asian dad making some ramen w/ poached eggs for his son... I've been making my noodles this way every time. The yolk is sooo good with the noodles.
I like how you added other ingredients, though. One was onion, right? What was the leafy stuff?
