Part III of IV, this monologue explores the life of Frances Havergal, who was a prolific hymn writer. She frequently gave talks based on her hymns, or dealing with other aspects of living the Christian life.
"Take My Life" was written by Julisa Rowe, who works at Daystar University in Nairobi, Kenya. The bulk of this text is taken from Havergal's hymn "Take My Life" and her book "Kept for the Master's Use" written to give further thoughts about the hymn and its effect on personal consecration, and including letters and autobiography.
This performance is by Hannah Norris during a chapel session at Houghton College on March 31, 2008
