Circuses that use animals infuriate me to no end. Circuses and circus defenders often claim "It's how children learn about the animals!" or "It makes children fall in love with animals!" What is having tigers jump through flaming hoops teaching to kids? They certainly don't do that in the wild. And I don't understand how they can think that seeing chained, trained animals sparks a child's love for animals more than watching a nature documentary or going to an accredited zoo or sanctuary.
