While I understand that 'Eco eating' means sourcing local food, what if, for health reasons, you want to eat a food that is unavailable locally?

Wild Alaskan Salmon is a natural food with enormous health benefits but I live in the UK, where the only alternative is dyed, flabby farmed salmon.

And, if by eating Wild Alaskan Salmon I can potentially support fishing people like those of Nunam Iqua, who are, shockingly, having to appeal for food aid right now, surely that's a good thing?
