Tailcam view of Airbus A380-800 VH-OQA (Nancy-Bird Walton) operating QF31 (SYD-SIN-LHR, Sydney to Singapore and London (Heathrow)) taking off from SYD T1 (Sydney International) Airport. The video shows OQA just coming off the taxiway and subsequently taking off.
Once again, shaky video due to take off (it is really hard to have a steady hand!). I was sitting in 5A, which is one of the First Suites. You can overhear off-camera someone else asking me what I was watching and how to get it (the tailcam is available through Flight Information section on iQ). A lot of people comment that take off with the A380 is significantly quieter than most twin-engined aircraft (in particular, the Boeing 747 series). Seeing as I hadn't flown on a four-engine aircraft for a long time (except for LAN Airbus A340-300), it was a bit hard for me to gauge how loud or quiet this was, but I guess when compared to the noise of the many two-engine aircraft I've flown, it is quite comparable, so I guess that qualifies as quite quiet.
@superbroombroom yes it is even in economy, unfortunately never flown any other class :(
