Dark Atmosphere 1

My first 5 minute composition. In trying to find "my sound", I experimented with creating a dark atmosphere.

Instruments:
Drums (from keyboard), altered with Audacity
Electric Guitar, bottom strings detuned as far as I could bear, with distortion
Electric Violin without amplification, echo produced by Audacity
Electric Violin, amplified, with distortion
Max was also caught barking during recording.

Music recorded and mixed on Audacity.

I used Audacity to remove all the ugly noise. The noise perhaps adds to the atmosphere though, I dunno. In any case, it's amazing what a good job Audacity did.
