Klein's sonata was written in camp at Terezin when the composer was 24. Later deproted to Auschwitz, he died in Fuerstnegrube in ealry 1945. There are three movements :allegro con fuoco, adagio and allegro vivace. A fourth, planned movement, was never written. This compelling performance was given by Ivo Kahanek at the 2011 'Indian Sumer in Levoca' Festival.
