This is my first attempt at creating a video from still photos. I compressed about 5 hours of time into 20 seconds. I accomplished this by taking about 300 photos at 1 minute intervals through my workday. I then set my video editor so that one still frame would play for 2 frames in a 24fps clip (so I guess it's really 12fps).

Yeah, it's a bit boring, but this is just a test for me to get used to how to use the settings on my Nikon D7000 and how to assemble them in my video editing application. Now that I know how to work it, the real fun can begin.

  • Would appreciate if you'd make a video on how to make time lapse photography using Nikon D7000.

  • nice test :)

  • Not bad - I think you've got the technique down. That's the way I started too with a test and it turned into a bit of an addiction over the last 2 years...
