Universal Music Group and Warner Music are devils of the recording Industry who were just after their profits and doesn't care about people's common interest. They neglect most of our rights to share our knowledge and broadcast what's on our mind, as well as kill most of our advocacies! I had to boycott them...Or, consider the end of our COPYRIGHT'S FAIR USE."

This is the actual video footage we got from our coverage of Miss Philippines Earth 2009 Pre-Pageant activity - "LITTLE EARTH ANGELS 2009".

This event was held at Robinsons Metro East, Cainta Rizal.

I edited the video and dubbed/ remixed the audio using Windows Movie Maker.

This is just a part of the 2 1/2 hours event. I wil be uploading more from this event soon...

COPYRIGHT ISSUE:

This video was previously banned in several countries, including the Philippines by YouTube due to Copyright claim by Universal Music Group for the background music used, "FORCA" by Nelly Furtado. After I filed a Copyright Dispute Claim, this video was released again for public viewing worldwide.

Under the notice, I insist that my use of some Copyrighted materials indeed conforms with FAIR USE - Copyright Act of 1976, Sections 17 U.S.C. § 106 and 17 U.S.C. § 106A (For News and Public Info)

Section 107 contains a list of the various purposes for which the reproduction of a particular work may be considered fair, such as criticism, comment, news reporting, teaching, scholarship, and research.

My claim includes other rights, as UMG can only claim the Copyright for one music track, and not the full content of this video. Therefore, their claim would not substantiate the essence of this video and with it subject for deletion?

This is not the first time I filed a Copyright Counter Notice. A sculpture tutorial I made was also previously deleted due to a Copyright claim by Warner Music ("THAT'S WHAT YOU GET" by Paramore, as one of the 3 featured tracks)

...Apparently, videos were all copyrighted and exclusive at ABS-CBN and Carousel Production. I manage to upload 2 videos that we got in one event, making sure of our Copyright's FAIR USE. May mga nakasabay kame na nag shoot ng video sa Little Earth Angels, but I think that was for personal or documentation, not for broadcast
