    Get over yourself. Sonny Bono wrote the damned thing. Yes, Cher sang it first, but it doesn't give her reign over it, and though I like Cher a lot, this version is more pleasant to the ear (especially considering she did that terrible Jesse James Bang Bang 80z bullshitivizm).
