I'm Dutch so I may have missed a word or two as well :). True, I also feel Nick seemed somewhat annoyed. I can imagine that an artist like Cave who's musically still very relevant, who has a great record out gets pissed off at the people who are shouting for oldies in between songs. I find that the constant shouting for classic songs is degrading for the artist, i.c. Cave. If people want to go see an oldies juke box sing-along they should go see the Rolling Stones. Lazarus live sounds great!

Cave did his best, good show but indeed: the venue itself is awful. No artist should play the Corn Exchange! We also had tickets to the Zutons concert the day before (came especially from the Netherlands to see them play), after the Cave gig we felt blessed that the Zutons had been relocated to the pretty and intimate picture house.

I totally agree with you. It's good to have a place to see gigs like Cave do but the Corn Exchange looks like a Big Garage and I think that the stage is too little for an artist like Cave that plays with all the Bad Seeds around... and don't know why but sometimes he seemed pissed off 'bout the crowd... what you think about it ? U know I'm Italian so probably I missed something of his chatting with the people...
