Wow that was really week acutally. His solo was perfect but Jeff's was really out of control with the notes

The thing that most people probably aren't aware of is that Gillis is only responsible for half the solo on the album version. The high harmonic that comes up and swells is where Gillis' solo ends and Jeff Watson's begins. He's trying to duplicate the style of another unique player, Jeff Watson. Every guitar player has a bad night. I've seen the body of Gillis' work and I'm satisfied he's a great picker. End of story.

He sure has improved a lot since the Ozzy days...

Well, it would be nice if brad actually played in the right key. Wank Wank Wank

Yeah, I remember when I saw him with Ozzy. It was so weird cause Randy was so tiny, and then this blonde muscle head shows up out of nowhere and rips through Randy's stuff and barely looked like he was even trying. I thought the guitar was pre-recorded!

Maybe the funniest face impressions ever... And waaaay too many wrong notes...

Let me put this simply. The guitar solo in Don't Tell Me You Love Me is the best guitar solo of all time.

Funny, the two greatest axemen in my opinion both last names start with Gil.(Paul Gilbert and Brad Gillis). Both have the most unique styles and sound. What a duet those two would be?

i saw him with ozzy in 1983 and he is still pretty much a great guitarist with a strong solo ability
I just HATE when current magazines dog on Night Ranger. They were, and still ARE, a fabulous band. I first discovered them on the TV show Solid Gold, lipsynching Sing Me Away. Their stage show blew me away! Brad Gillis is a stage show monster!!! Back in 1991, I was at the Houston Astrodome just 8 rows back. This is when Ranger was a 3-piece with Gary Moon on bass. Brad came out and just OWNED the stage and stole my musician heart!!! I am a devoted Gillis fan!

Brad even some 20 plus years later, is still the ultimate whammy wizard. They can always get faster, but not weirder with the strings than the best soloist from Dio's Hear-n-aid in 85. Remember? Gillis is definitely a tremelo GOD. If you don't believe me, try and duplicate him. Might as well buy something without the Floyd Rose!
