Music is about interpretation. We have no real idea what the writer had in mind when he wrote the song itself unless he has delivered to you first hand knowledge of that mindset. You can pull just about any meaning you want to out of a song by the way you interpret it. Now It would seem that many of you are on the right track as to what the song may actually be about, however, what is more important is how the lyrics may apply to your own life.

People, first of all look were they at. Looks like theater so muffled with echo. Truly not a stadium and if it was they would sound like album. Like they did at oz-fest.

@muaythaitildeath "i had to mke a choice that was not mine" he didnt leave because of wats best for him. she left him because he couldnt change. he tried but it wasnt enough to keep her there. it hits home for me cause thats wat ive gone thru now. i gave it my all but it wasnt enough. great song

wow the only "religion" part of it is the gypsy mention..also it doesnt sound good 1. cuz its live and when he records it the sound edit any flaws and 2. a cheap ass camera is recording it so it kills the sound

to me its about religion and lack of faith. I'm an atheist and to me it reminds me of when i tried to be a christian but just couldnt believe most of the bible or the actions of other "christians" toward their fellow man. the choice that was not mine was turning away from the church.

It's about divorce. I saw an interview with Brent once where he said he wrote it for a friend who was going through a divorce. I've never had this suspiscion confirmed one way or the other, but I think it may have been for Jasin, their original guitarist.
