Because the 205W *is* the newer model. The 350W is the older model. Visit Garmin's website or GPSmagazine(dot)com to see a listing of old to new models.

Stanley, the 205W is actually a newer model than the 250W. All the newest models end in the number 5, so the new version of the 250W is the 255W.

Yes. You can choose to avoid U-turns, Highways, Toll roads, ferries, carpool lanes, and unpaved roads.

I got a 250W because someone stole my other 205W... Watching this new model and apparently newer than the 205, looks like the 205 has better or more features as ecoRoute, 1000 POI's, shipper than the 250w, MSN compatible, FM traffic compatible and so more; things that the 250W doesn't have :s ... Someone can explainme why a older model has better features than a newer ?

I'm not really sure why the 205W has more features than the 250W. Maybe it's because the 250W is marketed as a low end model and back then the 205W was the higher end. If you're buying a new GPS device, I suggest staying away from the 250W because there are other models out there that have a lot more features for very cheap. I bought this GPS for $250 and with that amount, I can buy one that has bluetooth calling, text to speech, traffic alert and more. For example, the Garmin Nuvi 265WT.
