From the pen of Eric Bogle, great stuff decky, great band and singing, it's as good as The Fureys.
This song was written by Eric as he was leaving his mother and going to Austrilia. It would bring a tear to the eye.

Thats right Dardo, he said to his mother, I will bring you to the train station to say good-bye to me if you don't. but she started to cry as the train was leaving. Emotional song, it would bring a tear to a Glass-Eye.
