Which makes me wonder. Why do Weemacht players choose Paks?

Because they have a longer range, more accuracy, and they can cloak and gain a nice bonus to the first shot. Plus they're not likely to get squished by tanks :P

but Pak's can't run away if infantry catch them and tanks can swivle around them which is really annoying.

instead of a Pak I would've gotten the grenadiers with panzeshrecks. Paks aren't very mobile.
