The tools are 6.5 inches long and .171 in diameter a small industrial diamond is brazed in the tip and sharpened to a 110 degree angle. Call Holly at Machine Tools West for price and to order. 801 974 0638. The diamonds are also available in .125 diameter length is 1.5 or 4 inches long. A more common tip angle is 130 degrees included. I used 110 degrees in the video because of the small chsaracters (.015 Inches).

Do i hear this oke? is this tool about 30$? i was looking on ebay and came up one for 170$ :)
Please tell me how to get these diamond engraving cutters.... (ps is this spring loaded???)
Thanks !

The machine uses a top loading spindle that consists of a hollow tube supported with bearings. It has a thread in the top of the tube and the cutter slips into tube and is secured with a cutter head that screws into the threrads. The spindle is spring loaded and floats with spirng pressure on the material being engraved.

is this spingle motor on or off is diamant rotary
goldi585 3 years ago
The spindle is not rotating in this video because I wanted a more delicate engraved look. There is a toggle in the software to turn the spindle on or off.
