Iran inaugurates space center, sends rocket into space

پرتاب اولین کاوشگرفضایی ایران - کاوشگر فضایی ایران پرتاب شد. نخستین کاوشگر فضایی ایران که با تلاش شبانه روزی متخصصان وزارت دفاع و پشتیبانی نیروی مسلح ایران به صورت کاملا بومی طراحی و ساخته شده امروز دوشنبه به فضا پرتاب شد. نخستین کاوشگر فضایی ایران به منظور تعیین مکان صحیح استقرار ماهواره، برداشت اطلاعات از محیط فضایی پرتاب گرها، ایستگاههای فضایی، ماهواره ها و کپسول های برگشت پذیر در جو مورد نظر وظیفه خود را آغاز کرد. راکت کاوشی که امروز به فضا پرتاب شد از جمله مقدمات اولیه پرتاب ماهواره به فضاست. کاربرد دیگر این راکت کاوشی آزمایش سیستم های طراحی شده برای استفاده در سامانه های فضایی است به این منظور سیستمی در این کاوشگر قرار داده شده است که در شرایط عملکردی واقعی قرار میگیرد. هدف دیگر پرتاب نخستین کاوشگر فضایی ایران، برداشت اطلاعات از لایه های مختلف جو برای طراحی و ساخت کپسول های برگشت پذیر به جو است. متخصصان وزارت دفاع کشورمان همچنین توانسته اند ایستگاه پرتاب ماهواره را طراحی کنند و بسازند که نخستین ایستگاه پرتاب ماهواره نیز امروز به بهره برداری رسید و از این پس دیگر ایران هیچ نیازی به کشورهای خارجی برای پرتاب ماهواره ندارد

Iran achieved a historic milestone with the launch of research rocket Kavoshgar-1 (explorer), which made it to space orbit on Monday, 4 February 2008. Iranian president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad was present for the test and gave the launch orders himself. Kavoshgar-1 was fired from a missile base in the Semnan desert, southeast of Tehran. Before the test firing, president Ahmadinejad also inaugurated the first national space terminal, comprising of Omid (Hope) satellite, Iran's first homemade developed research satellite which has been designed and constructed by the Iranian experts. Iran's space terminal has been designed to send Iran's first homemade research satellite into orbit in the near future

Right on!The technological breakthroughs in Iran is unstoppable,we should explore all sources of energy including nuclear energy and stop being reliant on oil as soon as possible,the west is hellbent on stopping researches in Iran and they would shut down universities if they could.
