  • .....JJ would have had more chance in the first ten rounds because he was the faster of the two although JL was certainly no slow coach, however, if he failed to knock out JL which would not have been easy then going into 11-15 rounds under Queensbury this would have been more JL's element, he had more stamina I reckon although I know that Johnson went many distance fights as well, it still would have been either way on points but my money would have been on John L if it went the distance.

  • As an old school fan of heavy weight boxing I say all the heavy weight champions deserve respect and admiration but taking all factors into consideration the two that I particularly take my hat off to were both John L Sullivan and Jack Johnson, these in my view were the two greatest boxers of all time, there's not much between them, of course it would have been impossible for them to have met in the ring but if they did, both at their best it could have gone either way......

  • @banofee999 Tyson is no doubt a modern legend. The fact that he was the youngest

heavyweight champion on all time makes him so. He like perhaps only a few champions of the past evoked so much fear in his opponents many were defeated before they even stepped into the ring. His peek did not last long but in his peek who would have been a challenge to any champion in history. So you may or may not like him but give him his just due.

  • Everyone should watch this documentary, whether or not boxing is of their interest. Truly a great production.

  • @Denver1928 a coward like mayweather? i would much rather spend money on him then spend it on the klitschkos. the klitschkos are the most boring fighters ive ever seen

  • Wonderful awesome and great documentary this was originally aired on the HBO cable network and I remember watching this when it first played. This is one of the best documentaries of the Heavyweight division I've seen and the best ever produced in my opinion. Very nostalgic and reminiscing to watch a piece of Boxing history tracing it's roots back to the origins of this weight class which was once the crown jewel of the sport.

  • @sammyd199418 this is a documentry about legendary heavyweights tyson isn't a legend

  • @jebr1983 idiot

Manny and Klitschko will become the leaders of their home countries. The only reason US isn't on board is because they barely have any good boxers left + zero good heavyweights. They have a crook/a wife beater/ a cheat/ a coward like Mayweather and they shower him with money all the same turning him into 1

of the biggest PPV draws in history.

All of the guys in this video were treated like dirt by the Americans of their time. Vids like this are made through rose tinted goggles.

  • @brooklyn560 well said, for a second I assumed I posted that one

  • @sammyd199418 did you hear the part" we remember these champions for not only how they fought but how they lived"
