  • will this bike reach 70 mph ..im thinking about getting one to travel back and fourth to work.....

  • @cuzvance If the wind was at my face, no I could not hit 70. Also, it depends on your sprocket set up.

  • Trying to figure out if you pulled the baffle...... I like the way mine sounds after I pulled mine. Sure sounds like you pulled it on your as well. Getting ready to start riding again..... picked up a nice rear. I put 4000 on in 5 months. Wore the rear sneaker right down. Dennis Kirk has some awesome Duel sport nobbies... Damn agressive !!!!!

  • Didn't pull the baffle, but I did drill a bunch of holes through the end

  • Just picked one of these up for $300... it's got about 4,000 miles on it and it's my first bike. FUN. And your exchange with weazle was really funny, nice job.

  • Thanks. He tried to talk about something he knew nothing about, and got what he deserved. Notice the lack of comments after I ripped his shit a couple of times.

  • its called breaking the sound barrier

  • nice bike. seems the chinese stuff is gaining a real foothold in the market. way back when everyone rode triumphs and harleys, i can remember people refering to honda's as foreign garbage, until they started outliving their american and british counterparts. in fact way way back when triumph dealers often had oil catch pans under BRAND NEW BIKES on the showroom floor, leaked oil right from the factory. have you ridden this bike hard? any major problems so far?

  • YEE HAWW

  • Yamaha had the famous RD 350 cc twin two stroke street bike and this things were scary fast but a perfect entry level bike = i know this was 40 years ago but inflation have made lots of people this day = POOR.

  • How ever not much choice this days you see the Japanese or our dollars are worth nothing there are no cheap fairly fast Jap bikes any more . My first Honda a 350 SL cc a twin dual purpose was only $916.00 in 1972 and would do close 90 mph with stock gearing , the CB model "street only" was $100.00 cheaper with electric start .

  • That does suck for you. Luckily, my dealer had any parts I needed for me within 3 days. I have heard where people didn't have a good dealer that could take care of the needs for the bike. I do know that most of the bike is cheap and I also had to keep an eye on my spokes (even since I beat it to death off road). Had to replace to of the motor mounts. I guess I got lucky and had a good one b/c I sold it when I upgraded to a DR650 to my buddy with 6,000 miles and he is still cruisin on it!!
