Actually, it looks like an electric viola da gamba instrument, too, tenor range.

Guitar has always had a hard time fitting into the orchestra, even with Segovia. I think this could be the single stepping stone to revolutionize people's thoughts on the guitar in an orchestra. I really do hope to see this instrument in a theater some day.
