This replica of the Liberty Bell on Denver Capital grounds rests on wood, so no pitch is audible. The bell is about four feet tall, and about three-and-a-half feet in diameter. It is located on lower Capital grounds in Lincoln Park.
Every state capitol received one of these bells in 1976, but most that I have seen are not able to be rung. The wooden yoke is usually on the verge of collapse and steel beams have been placed under the bell, as with this one. Utah has theirs inside their capitol building and it will resonate when struck. All of them sound an E natural like the original Liberty Bell.
