The Bogey Man - UK theatrical trailer

This is an extremely rare trailer for the old 1980 horror film "The Bogey Man" (AKA The Boogeyman) by Uli Lommel.

This was one of many films that was banned in the UK as a video nasty for many years, but now available uncut.

This version is essentially the same as the old US trailer which, to my knowledge, doesn't appear on any current DVD release, but with the UK title card "Bogey Man" in place of the US title "Boogeyman".

This trailer was included on the old uncut Danish VHS tape of the film "The Burning" by Vipco in the early 90's (they used to distribute the BBFC approved cut versions in the UK but the uncut versions in Denmark). I'm not aware of this trailer appearing on any of Vipco's current crop of DVD's either (correct me if I'm wrong).

seriously...is this the movie where a kid yells: "boogeyman" out a window and the window comes down on top of him and decapitates/crushes him? I remember that part from being it kid and have been trying to find the film ever since.

The scene where the girl cuts her throat open with a scissors is partially in this trailer,but not in the U.S. TV trailers. I remember seeing this on cable as a kid and I watched it right after this other girl moves back into the house and she smashes the mirror after seeing a man in it.
