The photomontage has many beautiful views of "Guanabara Bay". Marcos Valle was co-producer of the Chill Brazil music collection, and some other artists featured in this cd are: Banda Black Rio, Milton Nascimento, Gilberto Gil, Jorge Vercillo, Tom Jobim, Joao Gilberto, Jorge Ben and more.

Marcos Valle (b December 14, 1943, Rio de Janiero) is a Brazilian singer, songwriter and record producer. He has written music in several genres including Samba, Bossa Nova, Jazz Fusion, Acid Jazz, Soul and Samba Rock. He has worked with many prominent Brazilian artists such as Edu Lobo and Dorival Caymmi.

He is best known for the song , "Samba de Verao" ... "Summer Samba" but has written much more. Marcos is known as the "2nd Wave" of Bossa Nova Artists. He also collaborated with the group Azymuth, a forerunner of the Acid Jazz genre, focusing on a more contemporary sound and electronic influence in his music.

Marcos Valle still performs in Brazil, European Locations, and is currently performing in Tokyo, Japan.

WOW!! Brazil is beautiful!! The music of Marcos Valle really compliments it well. I am now just getting into Azymuth,Bebel Gilberto, Marcos Valle, and Tania Maria; and I hope,with some help, I will learn of some more brazilian jazz/ neo-bossa nova artists. I am a Chicagoan saving to go to Brazil for the Olympics in 2016; and so far, listening to Marcos Valle is making all my plans worth it. Marcos Valle come to Chicago!
