Morakot Cherdchoo-ngarm (มรกต เชิดชูงาม), an outstanding young Pianist-Composer from Thailand. Playing his own composition Yod Nam (หยดน้ำ), "water drops" a work illustrating ray of light passing through water drops in a very impressionist style, remind us of works by Debussy such as "Reflets dans l'eau" or even Ravel's "Jeux d'eau"

  • I enjoyed this - but is it actually a written-out work or an improvisation?

  • @PSearPianist its a composition,

i know what you mean. far eastern compositions do often tend to be somewhat 'free' of shape and structure, more ambient than emotive and descriptive. still an admirable quality for the right occasions.

  • i Pretty much agree, respect but just not my style.

  • Pretty good, I have a best friend that writes symphonys and hes only 13! Hes really smart, he memorized 300 digits of Pi in 3 hours! :P Hard to believe, but his head is huge...XD Literally....

  • How old are you?

    Are you a concervatory student?

    Good job!

  • i didn't like it.

  • at what age did you begin to play?
