@GreenAnCom To answer your question, yes it is essentially an assumption. However, I am not simply "pulling it out of my asshole"; a relatable example would be that most Jewish people in Germany during WWII were treated like shit and were in constant danger.
North Korea is notorious for being secretive, so there'd be no absolute facts that these kids were forced. However, a logical assumption can be made judging by their corrupt communist government and what they've done in the past.

@SteveJawbs I'm not saying I doubt the "horribleness" of N-Korea, but can you point to sources that confirm your claims? Or are you perhaps just pulling some assumptions out of your asshole?

@drimtajm These kids aren't South Koreans BTW, something that probably should've been stated; they're NORTH Koreans. Almost 100% these kids were forced into doing this in fear of inhumane punishment. Just look at their faces and think of the countless hours these kids were forced to practice, just one mistake meaning getting physically punished. That's North Korea for ya.
