firstly, i'd never claim to know why things happen in GW but i'd agree that they do seem to serve little purpose other than to farm goodies. the boss in the area isn't very tough either!

as for the ELE SWORD value, yes they have been farmed a LOT but also "fashionable" builds will always affect the "in demand" weapons :)

it's still a good "cash" farming area and has been dropping BLACK dyes and LOCKPICKS recently!

yes and no ... i do with sin/ele version ... with a couple of tweaks and the new "nerf" that makes SF last 38 seconds.

if you use "glyph of swiftness" with "deadly paradox" it cuts recharge of SF to 30 secs so you can keep it up at all times.

energy management is tricky but can be done with a few asuran ranks :)

it's "DEADLY PARADOX" ... it helps cast shadow form quicker to avoid the distrupting stab of the raptors!

the build needs some tweaks after a nerf ... i now use "windborn speed" in place of fire attunement ... and it's going ok :)

but i did use "gamecam" so i can't really help much.

it was my first use of it and it worked fine. i edited it with the basic window's movie editor on my laptop and got to this point.

maybe your graphics card it not up to the job?

.umm..........when it was first released and it was really hard to get in DoA i was exaggerating that, ele swords used to cost alot like 100k+250e or some retarded number like that. i dont know if you started playing before this happened.
