[Miley/ Sydney]
I looked at myself in the mirror hating every inch of my body. I grabbed the fat on my side and sighed in disgust. I sighed once more knowing there's nothing more I can do. I headed downstairs and saw my mother drinking already. I rolled my eyes and slammed the door once I left for 'school'. I'm 17 in my Sophomore year, moving around so much gets me behind. What more do I need? Education? When has education every helped my family? My mother. I blocked out the thoughts and pulled out my iPod. Once I got there a nice girl showed me around, her name was Selena. We have 3 classes together: English, P.E, French 2. She didn't speak to me in none of them. It bugged me but it shouldn't. I won't be here long. It was lunch and I waited in line, got a burger and fries. And searched a place to sit, but I wasn't the only people were starring at. They weren't even really looking at me but a couple. I slightly giggled. She looked miserable, I knew she wanted a way out. And he just stood there smiling at everyone with his arm around her shoulder. Saying something but obviously she wasn't listening. Might as well save the poor girl. I dropped my food in the trash and lightly run up to her, "No way! Come here silly!" I pulled her in a hug, whispering in her ear, "If you want to get away from this play along. I pulled away and examined her as if I haven't seen her in ages. "I missed you!" I hugged her once more and started a small conversation on how everyone was. She went along and we slowly drifted away from the crowd till we were free. "Alright, later." I started to walk off but she spoke, "Thank you." I was caught off guard, "Welcome." I smiled and headed to a empty hallway. To think. I had my eyes closed singing along. Till I heard someone's back hit the locker. I looked to see the girl I saved sitting next to me. "Mind if I sit here?" She acted like I owned her and if I said no she'd leave in a heartbeat, "No." It was awkward silence her sitting there and me, trying to wrap my head around her. "Mind if I listen?" I looked down at my iPod, "It's only one song." She aimed for the headphone and put it in her ear. We sat there till lunch was over. The rest of the day was a blur. I headed out the front door ready to leave, but I just stood there staring at the school. "West Chester High, I'm here to stay."
