@viddrome Mike ruined the the Beach Boys by thwarting creativity. Yes, Brian had some issues and there where some questionable song selections, but imagine if he had some support for his ideas within the band. Mikes suggestions were always sticking to the formula - if the Beatles did that, their music would have died in '65.
