My mother died when I was 12. I'm 45 now. This was favorite novel of hers. I'm thinking she was a naughty girl at heart. As all women are. It's strange the lessons life has to teach us men, no?

@VenusBlue4u It's the lady in blue, she is Barbara Palmer, countess of Castelain. Amber was married to the earl of Radclyffe.
