take your sunrays and or starballs and mount them on the floor on a really small post, or tree?? uplights to the ceiling and gives you a nice bounce wash off the ceiling, and put the starballs etc, on the floor pointing up, and rotate them about 45 degrees so your beams all go through the audience.. and haze em alot... just a suggestion, then you dont have trussing... make it look pro!!

Hi Zack! I have a difficult sounding yet simple question, one that I could not find out anywhere else, not even in the online manual of this light. So I would appreciate it if you helped out.
You have 3 DMX channels for this fixture! Channel number 1 is a dimmer and when that is at 0% it is "closed"..
But if channel 1 would be set at 100% so that the dimmer is fully "open", can I have NO LIGHT AT ALL coming out of the Sunray by leaving channel number 2 (which controls colors) at 0%?

Not familar with the eruolite model. The stand I have is an On Stage Stands I beam truss system. Probably similar to the one you are asking about.

Hi there!
Great video! I'm looking for a white only light like the Starball II or Sunray II (I think they are both white). Which one out of the two would you recommend for slow dance songs? Are they generally the same as far as output? Thanks so much for your help!

The Starball LED DMX is probably what you mean. Those are very nice as well and I also have a video review on them. They are maybe just a tiny bit brighter because of the white but both fixtures are plenty bright. Now if you are talking about the old school starballs with a regular bulb, I only had the starball 2 I think. It was a mini version. It had a 10 minute duty cycle, got VERY hot, and wasn't very bright at all. Whatever you go with try to see it in person first if you can.

Nice. Loved how they reacted to music! How much does theese cost? And how much does the one with only white light cost?
Thanks for the video!

Either fixture is $150.00. That is regular retail price of course.
