I still like this classic British advert but since Britvic have started messing with the recipe (Artifical sweeteners with sugar in a NON-diet version - WHY?) I no longer drink my once favourite lemonade.
Hello Deadthing. Glad to be of assistance. Hope you find it. May be worth getting in touch with the PR section of Britvic . I came across this vid as I was rather bored and decided to search for Britvic. I worked for them for a short time in 1970. I also have fond memories of RW White's Lemonade and am a fan of Elvis Costello having first heard him on the Live Stiffs album which also featured Ian Dury with his remarkable rendition of`Billericay Dicky'. I was born and raised in Billericay :-)
Thank you Ross McManus for giving us this everlasting tune and Elvis Costello RIP.

The man coming down the stairs is Rowan Atkinson. The glasses and wig give a good disguise.

The actor in this advert was Julian Chagrin. The advert was yet another memorable piece of work from Rod Allen of Allen Brady and Marsh.

But what is Britvic?

asiannextdoor: The person who composed and sang the song is Elvis Costello's father (but it's not the actor).
