  • I was sleeping in my room when the alarm went off and I fell off the bed.

  • @BMWED19 - HAL's ships are not built in Rotterdam. The line was originally headquartered in Rotterdam, and it has a history of well over 100 years in the Netherlands with shipping, passenger service, and vacation cruises. Holland America's ships are still registered in Rotterdam, but these days they are generally built by Fincantieri in Italy.

  • @WesleyConoway They do that because their ships are made in Rotterdam, Netherlands. Its like how Royal Caribbean has "Nasau" under the ship name on the bow of the ship.

  • @WesleyConoway Yes that's treu a lot of shipping compagnies do that.

It is for recognition of the compagnie.

Like a big dutch shipping compagnie uses the prefix Gracht behind al there shipping names like ankergracht, statengracht, admiralengracht etc etc etc.

  • What an alarm.
