El Conquistador, completed in 1965, was designed by architect Morris Lapidus (1902-2001) and his son Alan near San Juan, Puerto Rico. It was used, like Lapudus' Fontainbleau resort in Florida in a James Bond movie, as a villain's lair in the movie Stiletto (1969), dir. Bernard L. Kowalski. The lady who highlights some features of the great resort is non other than Ms Britt Ekland.
Edited to tunes of the Concierto de Aranjuez by Joaquín Rodrigo.
