Chomick+Meder "Bellboy" modern automaton, 2009.
Automaton figure has painted resin head and hands, glass eyes; synthetic hair. Fabric covered wood base.
MOVEMENT: Microprocessor controls 4 servos for head and arm movement. "Bellboy" moves head to observe the crowd, shakes head implying they are unacceptable, then left arm hits bell with baton to summon the crowd. 2:30 minute movement repeats after short delay. 5.5 x 7 x 17 inches, figure 8.75 inches tall. OOAK
