Twilight: Edward & Bella - Yellow

I can NOT believe I actually finished this!! I started this back in March or whenever the DVD was released and had every intention of making this my first 'Twilight' video. However, I lost inspiration as I was making this (horrible, I know, lol). But it's still my first Edward & Bella video.

Okay, so I saw the midnight showing of 'Twilight' last year having not read the books yet. The movie impressed me enough to read the books (mainly because I saw it with a bunch of people who read the books and were verbally comparing things to the books while watching the movie so it got me curious, lol). So the next day I ran out and bought the series and fell in love with it! Edward Cullen has my heart. While the movie is not as awesome as the book, I still love it because it is one of the few that stays true to the book and it even makes great use of actual quotes from the book. With this video I wanted to capture the feel you get reading the book. Robert Pattinson does an excellent job with Edward's character but Edward Cullen is SO much more than you get in the movie. His love for Bella just pulls you in and you feel like you're Bella reading the book, lol. Now I know this vid is far from having that effect but I wanted to at least give those of you who've only seen the movie a feel of what the books are like. I tried to match the scenes and quotes according to the chapter in the book they occurred in.

This song is one of my all time favorite songs. I have been wanting to vid it forever but it's one of those songs that I love SO much it's extremely hard to vid. I hope I did it justice, I know I cut it short but there wasn't enough footage to stretch it to the end while still matching the beats and not repeating scenes (although I might have accidentally done so once or twice). I just think this song is SO perfect for Edward's view of Bella. For those of you who didn't read the book, he actually wrote her a song and that's the song he's playing at "I wrote a song for you." Just all the lyrics scream Edward & Bella to me! I tried to use all their moments in the right places and I even used 2 deleted scenes but there is NO New Moon footage in this video. I wanted to keep it mainly Twilight. Once New Moon is out on DVD I will make a solely New Moon video. I hope I'll be able to vid the saga more. If the right song comes along, who knows, lol. I'd like to dedicate this video to CatAtak12. Thank you for talking 'Twilight' with me because it sparked inspiration to finish this sucker, lol. I have had the hardest time finishing it. I would literally stare at the screen for 10 minutes and not be able to add ANYTHING. But somehow geeking out about the series with you sparked my motivation! I also have to thank SweetBrooke23 for giving me the download link for the movie and luvtheheaven for reviewing parts of it when I started this project :)

I also want to dedicate this video in memory of my late grandmother. She didn't watch 'Twilight' but today's her birthday so I am happy to be able to post something today of all days :)

Okay, I did LOVE this. Really beautiful/perfect song choice, and good lyric-matching...this song SO fits them! And the coloring was simply gorgeous. I wasn't a fan of the coloring in the first film, it made it look cheap, but the way you changed it made this vid sooo beautiful and moving. It reminded me why I loved the books and Edward/Bella in the first place. Oh, and I like the background you made for the credits!
