I´ve always wondered, Why manangers, players or funs protest a supposedly bad call pitch? even if it were, it makes no sense at all to aim any kind of protest...you´re not going to loose the ball game du to it, that´s the way this game has been played ever since, ...Fernando never protested a call, yet he is one of the greatest on the mound...
It´s simply silly to raise any complaint against the blue, there is no reason at, if you´re a rational people

If you ejected 23 in one year, your not doing your job. Your job is to keep them in the game. Your young, and still learning. The easy way is to toss em, the more skillfull umpire will handle the situation more tactfully. Its called Game Mgmt. If you keep umpiring and want to move up, that is what you are ultimately judged on. If you have 23 confrontations with coaches, then you think maybe, just maybe you missed a call. Or your strike zone needs work, or you mis-applied a rule?
