I can safely say, without a doubt in my mind, that this is one of the best, and one of my most favorite videos, that I have ever made.
I absolutely love it.
And please don't think I'm being conceded, because that isn't my intention. Maybe I love it so much because I worked on it for so long, so hard. I'm not exactly sure. But I love it, and that's that.
I can't believe it. 268 subscribers. That's absolutely unbelievable.
Thank you so much, all of you. If it weren't for you, I'm sure I would have left YouTube a very long time ago.
I'd like to thank all of my friends online here; you're all amazing and talented and wonderful, in your own ways. I love you guys to death.
But enough mushy gunk. :3
If you'll recall, I posted a preview for this, quite a few months ago, but I took it down, on account of copyright. I had the whole plot fixed, but I'll explain here again:
The overall plot, is a BrambleclawxLeafpoolxCrowfeather love triangle. Leafpool is portrayed as Squirrelflight for most parts in the video, because we must admit, she is a bit more flirtatious than our quiet, gentle Leafy. But don't take that as an insult, because I love her just as much. Brambleclaw is the man who is singing with the hoarse voice; Crowfeather is Leafpool's lover who can't bear to watch her destroy herself any longer. He laments in his monologue (one of my most favorite of all time, as a side note. :3) Towards the end of the video, I decided to alternate between Squirrelflight and Leafpool to show Leafpool's confusion, whether she should remain with Brambleclaw and continue to be a prostitute, or go back to Crowfeather and be herself again.
I have never seen Moulin Rouge, for the record, and I have not deprived my plot here from the movie; it came from my head, based upon my interpretation of the song.
So, if you'll notice, after Crowy's lament, there is a Spanish part; I have translated that into word layers in the video, but I know it's hard to see, because my WMM sucks and saving HQ, so here it is:
And I who love you so much, what am I going to do?
You left me...You left me, like a dove.
My soul has left me, my heart has left me.
I no longer wish to live, because I cannot convince you,
Not to sell yourself, Roxanne.
So, once again, thank you for all of the wonderful subscribers, and for helping make this video possible. I really hope you like it. :3
