Always check the moisture emissions from the slab. If it is wet, I recommend applying a moisture barrier, such as Bostik's MVP. If the slab is dry, use an adhesive with a moisture block in it, such as Bostik's Best. Thanks for watching!

Thanks, nice music. Let me ask you a question, after you prep the foor, do you apply anything on the concrete subfloor? any kind of liquid damp proof or something? or you just apply glue and start laying the planks? how does it work? and if you do apply any kind of liquid damp proof, where can i find it and what's the name of it? Thanks.

My folks are about to do this on my floor, but the previous tenant painted the floor with an epoxy or some sort. I know it needs to be removed, but does the concrete need to be lightly polished first or can it be slightly rough from a low grit grinder?

@cybertron2600 No, the floor does not need to be polished. As long as the slab is level and clean it should be just fine. Thanks for watching!

this will stop squeaking right? they laid some wood flooring down in the living room with nails and the squeaking is driving me insane im sure glue would be better....

That is true... A glued down floor should not squeak. A nailed down floor should not squeak either. Occasionally we glue and nail a floor just to be onthe safe side. Thanks for watching!
