How to build your rod from scratch. Follow along as Scott Graves designs, fabricates, and assembles another fun hot rod out of a 1937 GMC pickup. Power comes from a 1962 235 inline 6, mates to a S10 T5, and sends it to a pair of 7.50-17 BF Goodrich tires thru the 3.08 geared rearend. Everything was fabricated in the his shop area you see with just a few basic tools.

  • Awsome job !!!!

  • That looks monstrous!

  • Looks good but the back needs to be wider and have some fat tires in the back

  • how long did you build thats monster?

  • Looks terrible, sorry dude it just looks like shit.

  • looks good mate ...its a great video as well F#*k on all these computer shit talking assholes.all just sad thay can not do this them selves and have to go out and buy one and spend up to 10 ,15 ,25 grand on some crap!! GET A CLUE>GIVE RESPECT WHEN ITS DUE !!!FINE JOB MATE..

  • I love this thing!!! I would get a wider rear end though, looks kinda funky. I love the streched look of the fron end, glad to see someone using a good ol 6 cylinder

  • @waterwart what do u mean

  • Hell yes! No stupid computer controlled electronic roll litigation. No traction control. No nav system. No computer controlled climate. No park assist. In fact, no anything that allows for a total idiot to be able to drive. Apart from that, no external plastic crap that is being passed as automotive fashion, like fender panels, ground effects, bumpers, and skirts. Automakers need to take a clue from you. No everyone wants to drive a computer with a cheap plastic body on it. New cars suck!

  • A lot of work.Congrats!!Well done man.

  • when i have the money, when i have the time and when i live in the good ol' States it'll happen

  • Great job. Looks good

  • i dont see why everyone has to be an asshole that car is sweet he built it if you dont have anything good to say shut the fuck up?

  • @waterwart how about you be this big man you make yourself out to be and just upload a video of your rat rod? if you do that ill go "play with a toy"...most likely tuning my car or driving my dads studebaker

  • @redghost105 Hey kid.....go find a toy to play with. And leave the rat rod stuff to us guys.

  • @waterwart so now that your losing the argument your gonna troll my videos some more and say "i dont care"?

  • @redghost105 So what the fuck? Go play your guitar and leave me out of your mouth.

  • @redghost105 I don't care. You blew it.

  • @waterwart I get more tail and money from playing guitar at restaurants and stuff in a month than you do all year, I;m starting to see a trend here...you call out anyone whos better than you

  • @waterwart thats your come back? troll all my videos and say go home? just admit it...your a douchebag

  • @redghost105 Go home boy. I hear that 1200 doller guitar callin you.

  • @cpmotors Dude I love the rod!

its awesome what you did with this, and I also appreciate how clean you keep your garage(unlike some people) if you dont mind me asking, how much did it cost to build the whole car? I would love one for myself

  • @waterwart I have helped my dad with the car ever since a few months before I got my guitar,

and before you got on to me about having no videos, where are yours? if your this great inbreed machanic with your own rat rod then why dont you put a video of it up?

  • @waterwart My dad owns a 1945 studebaker bullet nose, we bought it in junkyard condition and fixed it up, We have a 289 small block engine inside of it with a few mods and it pumps out 450 horsepower

We had a very hard time trying to fit it inside, we have to re locate the radiator because the 289 is nearly to big for inside the hood
